Link a price deck to a document

To link a price deck to a document node in the hierarchy:

1. Select the node in the hierarchy that you want to configure and click the Prices button on the ribbon, or use Price in the context (right-click) menu.
2. The Price Settings window will open. From here you can link prices from price decks to product streams.



To create links, double-click in the Price field for each stream and select from the dropdown list:



3. Linked prices are inherited from the parent node in the hierarchy. Inherited settings are indicated by the price name in italics, and there will be a checkbox in the Override column. To override this setting, check the Override box and then edit the value in the Price field; a value that overrides the inherited setting will be indicated by the price name in bold face.
4. Click OK to close the dialog and save the changes.

In the hierarchy, a linked node will be marked with the icon , signifying that prices have been linked. When nodes are calculated, the child nodes will inherit the prices that have been set in this node.
